Children aged between 4 (sometimes 6, depending on the airline) and 12 can travel alone as Unaccompanied Minors

After checking in

5 documents are indispensable, however:

  • The plane ticket or e-ticket reservation
  • Valid identity card or passport in the child's name (depending on destination)
  • Parental authorisation
  • The completed identification form for the person picking up the passenger at the destination airport (full name, address and telephone). This document is handed in at the airport or can be required on reservation;
  • Authorisation to leave the country (for international flights).

For more information, please contact the airline concerned.

On arrival

The accompanying person mentioned on the identification form picks up the passenger after he or she leaves the plane.

 Specific conditions for Ryanair:

Ryanair does not accept unaccompanied minors aged under 16. Children under 16 must always be accompanied by a passenger aged over 16. The airline does not provide accompaniment or special services.
